The Próspera Economic
Enabling Sustainable and Profitable Growth
In Partnership with Local Communities
Próspera partners with governments like Honduras to promote and operate Economic Development Hubs - similar to Special Economic Zones (SEZ). These hubs are integrated with local communities and have semi-autonomous governance and regulation.
With a common law legal framework, familiar and flexible regulations, a bill of rights, low taxation, and protections for the environment, Próspera enables entrepreneurs to solve problems structurally and responsibly for the people of Honduras and the rest of the world.
A New Partnership with Honduras
Próspera has partnered with Honduras to create the first Próspera Hub on Roatán. This hub is part of the Próspera ZEDE (Zone for Economic Development and Employment) - a semi-autonomous jurisdiction encompassing one or more physical locations within Honduras.
ZEDE + Oversight
Anchored in Honduran Law
This special jurisdiction is anchored in the Honduran Constitution and the ZEDE Organic Law.
The ZEDE structure allows Próspera to work with the Honduran government subject to international law to establish the jurisdiction’s semi-autonomous legal, administrative, and regulatory institutions.
A New Platform for Positive Impact
Próspera’s governance institutions have been developed by and for local and global entrepreneurs and businesspeople. This platform institutes key checks on governmental power, a bill of rights protecting people of all income levels, and a straightforward structure for doing business.
Local and Global Partners
Prospera is partnered with community leaders, experts and firms across various sectors to provide the knowledge, capital, connections, infrastructure, services, and security needed for sustainable economic development.
“Building the next generation platform in Próspera is particularly exciting, because Próspera’s underlying government services are, themselves, designed to be more frictionless and user-friendly than anywhere else in the world.”

A New Model for Entrepreneurship
The Próspera Platform provides entrepreneurs the legal and regulatory flexibility to create a lasting impact while empowering them with local expertise and access to world-class research and resources.
The first Próspera Hub on Roatán offers diverse opportunities for entrepreneurs to turn their best ideas for a brighter future into a reality for the people of Honduras and for the world.
“I can think of a half dozen great ideas for Honduras that might only succeed within the special jurisdiction created in Roatán Próspera.”
